Not many know the story of Paul. It is written in bible that he had a sickness - a recurring sickness. And he called on The Lord many times, to take his sickness away. In his letter, Paul talks about his troubles.
He prayed about it! He prayed long and hard. Never giving up on The Lord.
His letter is worded beautifully
Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NIV)
If this promise is not worth remembering then I don't know what is!
