This morning I woke up crying in my sleep. I had a horrible dream. I was shivering. I dreamt that a friend very close to my heart was being led away from me. It was so horrible that in my dream I wanted to die. I quit my job and locked myself in a room.
After waking up in a cold sweat, I started reading the Bible. I needed to calm my nerves.
And then I felt His word come to me - God's will is more important than our desires.
We work so hard on building dreams but when they turn into nightmares we are shaken. I had to remind myself that if God desires that this friend stay close to me then he will. And I know God has my best interests at heart. He will never let me down. God will never let my dreams turn into nightmares.
