You are a servant, make me one too

Recently in church we sang the hymn Lord make me like you and today while I was reading my Bible, Jesus put this verse in front of me. 

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45 NIV)

He came to give his life as a ransom. To set us free - free from jealousy and petty rivalries. All of us find ourselves slaves to something, fighting our own battles. We need to cooperate with God and He will set us free from these slaves we battle with.
