Have you ever been part of a group where you aren't in the core. Like you are a part, but yet don't belong cause they might be secrets and "inside" jokes that you are not privy to? You feel like there are groups within groups and favourites among favourites.
But remember the ultimate truth, you are His favourite one. You are chosen and you are wanted.
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love (Ephesians 1:4 NIV)
It is hard of me to grasp this truth.
Writer Henri Nouwen said, "When you lose touch with your chosen-ness, you expose yourself to the temptation of self-rejection and that undermines the very possibility of ever growing in the Beloved."
He has chosen you, you are his favourite one.
