A few days ago I posted about the perils of pride. Our first step to this solution is to acknowledge that we have such feelings of pride - then we pray about it.
Here is a prayer I read from Everyday with Jesus.
Loving God, give me clear insight to see pride for what it really is and the courage to face the fact that it may have a deeper hold on me than I have realised. Gently expose any deceitful thinking in my soul. Help me Father. In Jesus' name. Amen
