In Paul's letter to the Corinthians he tells us - "And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love"
Hope is different things to different people. For some it's optimism for others it's and illusion. But for us Christians, it is a cardinal virtue of our faith. For hope to be real, it needs to be linked to Christ. It is interwoven with Jesus. And the hope we have in Christ will never disappoint us. Anchor your hope in Jesus.
