Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24 NIV)
Right now nothing in my life feels more real than this. My brother (only 27 and a non believer) was diagnosed with a tumour on his back. My parents were shaken, both of them are very involved in the church and have a strong faith. But this time it was shaken.
We had to run the tests to check of it was a malignant (cancerous) or benign (non cancerous) tumour.
So I prayed, and I asked friends and family to pray. Someone I asked to pray told me "Shona, just claim that it is healed, just believe" and I did just that.
I believed that God would bring no harm to my family. And this is my testament, something I learnt while studying Rene Descartes in philosophy: Cogito Ergo Sum - I think therefore I am - For me it is "I believe therefore I am" .
