Is this even possible?
Yes it is – I am going to quote my favourite blogger FayAnn D’souza here –
"In every situation of hurt lies the opportunity for truly healing yourself. Jesus forgave the people who nailed Him to the cross. People in genocides live in captivity for years after the horror, but then come to a place of forgiveness and peace. Forgiveness is possible."
Another example that comes to mind is something I read earlier today.

"During World War 2, a group of Belgian teenagers were reciting the Our Father together in church. After the word 'Forgive us our trespasses,’ they paused before continuing with the rest of the sentence. They were wondering how they could forgive those who had ruined their county. As they paused, a voice behind them said: ‘As we forgive those who trespass against us.’ When they turned they realised that the speaker was the king of Belgium who had lost everything except his soul."
If you, like me find it difficult to forgive then remind yourself of one thing
